Ask a Bartender

When you’re ordering drinks at a bar, it can be tough to get your bartender’s attention. But there are some great ways—and not so great ways—to flag your bartender down. First, have your order ready before you go to the bar. When you’re at the bar, never shout, wave, or clap. Instead, try making eye contact with your bartender and have your credit card ready to go so they know you mean business. Most of all, be patient and respectful because you’re not only trying to get their attention, but you’re also trying to get their help.
